The idea in context
Composition is the quiet architecture of a picture: where the eye lands first, how it travels, and where it is allowed to rest. Devices like the rule of thirds, leading lines and negative space guide attention without the viewer noticing. Much of an image's power lies not in what is shown, but in how it is arranged.
